January 2025 Regional New Home Sales and Inventory

I recently looked into inventory of existing homes for sale. Industry analysts continue to talk about soft markets and rising levels of inventory of existing homes for sale in Florida and Texas.

I normally don’t look closely at regional data in the Census Bureau’s monthly housing updates. I checked in on them recently. Given the current focus on soft regional markets, it seems worth another look.
