2025 vs 2008
I am preparing a post that outlines several broad categories of how the business cycle is different now because of the housing shortage. I decided that that post needs an introductory post updating some specific similarities and differences between the current cycle and 2008.
These will both be subscriber only posts, because I think they have value for private financial decision-making. If I do say so myself, re-reading that post, I think it can serve as a nice introduction to important housing trends. If you can’t accept and internalize the points of that post, then you can’t understand the housing market. If you can, then you’ll be way ahead of the game.
