Phoenix Screenings of "Fault Lines" Documentary
Phoenix area friends. There will be 2 chances to see a great new documentary on the housing crisis. (I played a small part in the production, as the producers indulged my pedantic demands about which economic statistics are important and relevant.)
This is a great film that gets to the heart of the issues in an effective, humane way that is also accurate and free of economic myths and errors. I highly recommend seeing it, especially given that every other documentary that I know of on housing costs, housing finance, and housing economics is misinformed brain rot. It’s the first housing documentary that hasn’t left me fearful about the human ability to accumulate communal wisdom.
First, the Valley Interfaith Project will host a viewing at Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation, in Chandler. I will be on a panel for audience discussion after the viewing. That's on February 22.
Then, the Urban Land Institute will host a screening on March 6 in downtown Mesa. The movie's producers will be in attendance for that screening.
