June 2025 Residential Construction
The completions impulse in multifamily seems to have completely played out. Building times in 2-4 and 5+ unit projects are both back to their pre-Covid norms. I’m afraid we might be settling back into the normal pre-Covid building pace, limited by universal municipal obstructions.
Single family construction times seem to have stalled out at a month longer than normal.
